Getting from Malaga to Seville by train

Hi Michael,

The rail links from Malaga are a bit limited at the moment and you have to go to Seville via Bobadilla. You can find out times and costs of the Malaga-Bobadilla trains at http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir130.jsp&O=54413&D=54400&AF
=2008&MF=02&DF=09&SF=6&ID=i and the Bobadilla-Seville trains at http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir130.jsp&O=54400&D=51003&AF
=2008&MF=02&DF=25&SF=1&ID=i

Or you can get a bus from Malaga Bus Station direct to Seville - details at https://www.alsa.es/VentaParticulares/AGVenta

You can also find out details of trains from Seville to Madrid on the Renfe website at http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir130.jsp&O=51003&D=MADRI&AF=

Linda

I am planning to visit Seville on 25th February for about 9 days.

I am going to fly from Birmingham International airport. Seem to me the best option available is fly to Malaga and then catch a train from Malaga to Seville. Looking at Refee web site and it doesn't seem there is a train for that.

I looked at Bmibay, British Airways, Easyjet and Ryanair web site for budget flights.

So what the best thing to do ?

Also how much Is a ticket for fast train from Seville to Madrid (for 5th March) ?

Hi

This is Ken from Totally Spain.

Just to let you know, there is a direct train rom Malaga to Seville but because it is a regional train, tickets only go on sale about 2 weeks prior to departure.

You can see the timetable by searching for an earlier date, for example, Malaga to Sevilla on 04 February. The same timetable applies on the date you wish to travel. If you wait for a couple of days you can book the direct train.

Hope this helps.

Ken
