Facilities for blind passsengers at Las Palmas Airport

Hi Colin,

I am afraid Spanish Airports are not good in providing assistance for travellers with special needs. You need to contact the airline you are travelling with and ask them to arrange something with their ground handling staff at Las Palmas. Usually they can provide buggy transportation as far as the arrivals hall so you will probably need to make another arrangement with the driver who is collecting you for your onward transfer.

Hi Gary,
My friend and I are both blind independent travellers. We will be arriving Las Palmas and want to know what assistance there would be for disembarking the aircraft, clearing immigration, retrieving our baggage and being matched with our transfer driver in arrivals

Thanks

Colin
