Cost of getting from Barcelona to Salou

Hi Tracey,

Obviously Salou is the more convenient option, but you can get a train from Barcelona Sants station to Salou - details at http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir110.jsp&O=?&D=?&AF=2008&MF
=MM&DF=DD&SF=NaN&ID=i Or you can get a bus from the airport to Salou - details at http://www.empresaplana.es/

To explore the various options of how to get to the railway station in the centre of Barcelona from the airport visit http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/barcelona-airport.html

Salou is around 103km from Barcelona Airport so a taxi would cost in the region of €130 each way.

Even though Reus is much closer to Salou - details of links at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/reus-airport-buses.html The public transport links from Barcelona are perfectly acceptable and a cheap option so as long as your flight doesn't arrive at some very late hour when the trains and buses have stopped running I would opt to fly into Barcelona and save the 300GBP.

Hi Gary

We are thinking of booking with Jet 2 to fly from Belfast to Barcelona and then travelling (2 adults and 2 children) either by bus or train or taxi (basically whichever is the cheapest or quickest)
to stay in Oasis Park Hotel, Avinguda Carles Buglas in Salou

We plan to travel from 21st August (morning flights) to 28th August - can you offer any advice as to whether it would just be more feasible to book more expensive flights to travel directly
to Reus Airport from Belfast (approximately £300 more expensive)

Regards Tracey
