Hi Diane,

The fares fluctuate depending on the demand for seats so it is impossible to predict which is your best option. Having said that, a large number of airlines have a surplus of seats in January and often have very good last minute sales. You will have no problem in getting return seats at that time of year so if it was me I would take my chances and book as late as possible.

Hi, we are coming to tenerife in Dec 2008 (either 12th or 19th) we are hoping to just get a flight there as they are so expensive at this time of year. We were advised to go to TFS airport the week before returning (we are coming back on 16th Jan 2009) and just book ourselves 2 flights home, is this plausible and possibly cheaper than booking a return flight from home ?
