Travelling around in Barcelona Area

There are no train services from Pals to L'Estartit. You can get a taxi from Pals to L'Estartit which is only a 15km journey which takes about 20 minutes and will cost in the region of €22-25. Or while you are there you may well find there is a local bus.

L'Estartit does not have a railway station but the Sarbus service runs from L'Estarit to Barcelona which is a 155km journey - details at http://www.sarfa.com/paginas/interurbano_trayectos.php

If you decide to stop over in Girona it is a 43km journey which will cost about €60 by taxi. I cannot find a bus service that links L'Estartit to Girona, but again when you are there you may well find one.

I am feverishly searching the internet for bus, rail, taxi info. My husband and I will find ourselves in Pals, Spain next September - having been driven there by friends from the Barcelona airport. From there, we plan a week in Estartit and then home again (the US) from the Barcelona airport. I simply cannot figure out the travel logistics from Pals to Estartit, and Estartit to Barcelona. A stop in Girona City would be fine. Do you have any ideas?
