Changing flights in Madrid

The recommended minimum transfer time you should allow between flights is 1 hour 30 minutes, so provided you do not have any delay into Madrid you should be OK for time.

I will be flying into Madrid airport and arriving via Delta at 11:20 a.m. my flight to the canary islands using Spanair leaves at 1:40.. will I have enough time to get my luggage, go through customs and make this connection>? Thanks
