Driving a hire car from Portugal to Spain

I am afraid that it's only the national car companies like Avis and Hertz who have the facilities for you to hire your car in Portugal and drop it off in Spain. The other alternative is for you to get the bus from Faro to Seville and then rent a car when you get there. I got your email from your terrific informative site "faro airport guide". I posted a comment on the website, but though i would email you as well. know you get this question a lot, but couldn't find the answer. do you know of a car rental company that allows pick up in portugal and drop off in spain without exorbiant fees? My husband and i are flying into lisbon and planning on renting a car in lisbon, traveling portugal's coast, meeting some friends in malaga, and then flying out of seville. and we only have one week! The whole trip will be much more complicated without a rental car! any suggestions?
