Lufthansa fly into Terminal B. Their ground handling agents are Flightcare and it is worth checking just where they will hold your cat for collection. Their numbers are 932 983 330 or 932 971 134

Hi Regine,

Most of the flights from Germany arrive in Terminal A. If this is the case then there is a "special baggage" carousel which your cat should appear on. Having said that, I have brought cats into Spain and the baggage handlers seem to be a law unto themselves, so I would double check with the ground handling staff for your flight who are normally at the door when you disembark from the plane.

If you want to check before you fly, let me know which airline you are flying with and I will give you the number for their ground staff at Barcelona Airport.

I was wondering if you knew where I could pick up my pets at Barcelona airport once me and them arrive on a flight from Germany?
Is there a special area to pick up this "special luggage"? I will travel with 2 cats - 1 in the cabin, 1 in the "special luggage area".
