Shuttle buses from the aircraft at Tenerife South Airport

At Tenerife South Airport you disembark from the aircraft using one of the eight airbridges that connect directly to the terminal or by airport passenger bus. There is never any guarantee which option you will be given and usually the pilot is only told where to taxi the plane just before he lands. Tenerife South is not a very large airport and all I can suggest is that you talk to the cabin crew on your flight and explain the situation so that they can arrange for you to be escorted to the terminal if you are unlucky enough to be at one of the stations that mean you have to use the bus as your means of transport.

hi gary wondered whether you could answer a simple question please? I am looking to book a holiday to tenerife los cristianos but need to know whether I can walk across to the airport terminal rather than get off the aeroplane and onto a shuttle bus that goes to the terminal. You see I suffer from terrible claustrophobic and cannot go on these buses - your urgent response is greatly appreciated
