Geting from Madrid to Oviedo

Asturias is the airport in Oviedo. As presumably your sister will be flying into Madrid from the States she can either get a train (but the service is very limited) - details at http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir130.jsp&O=MADRI&D=15211&AF=2008
&MF=01&DF=06&SF=0&ID=i or she can get a flight with any of the following airlines who fly from Madrid to Asturias: Spanair, Air Nostrum LA Mediterraneo, Easyjet or Iberia.

Dear Gary,

My sister will be going to university in Oviedo in January and I am trying to give her the best advice in getting there. She will be traveling from the States on Sunday January 6th. The best way it seems is to fly into Madrid and then take a train to Oviedo. Do you have any other ideas or advice?
