Findinfg employment at Gibraltar Airport

Gibraltar is classed as a UK Airport is not managed by Aena (the Spanish Airport Authority) and is actually operated by the Royal Air Force which is why they advertise in the UK. All I can suggest is that you write to the airport direct at Winston Churchill Avenue, Gibraltar.

I am looking for a position at Gibraltar Airport, do you have any knowledge about how I can go about this, I have looked at various airlines but the only positions they advertise are in U.K.
I was a retail manager for many years and have also worked in the travel industry, are there any retail outlets who recruit?

Gibraltar Airport is very small and has very limited employment opportunities, especially in retail. There are very few outlets mostly in the duty free area, all of which, as is normal in these instances are franchised out to local retail outlets who have their own staff.
Whilst Linda's suggestion is an idea and no harm in trying, you may also want to approach a number of the local recruitment agents. You will find all of them regularly advertising employment vacancies in the Employment section here: http://www.gibraltarclassifieds.com
You might even want to consider placing an Ad under 'Jobs Wanted'... that's an idea too. Since it's free, it's well worth doing.
