Transport from Gibraltar to Malaga

Probably the best way of doing it is to get a bus from La Linea to Marbella and then another bus to Malaga - details at http://www.ctsa-portillo.com/ima/pdf/marbella.pdf and then a train from Malaga to Murcia - details at http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir130.jsp&O=61200&D=54413&AF=2007

You will then need to get a bus or taxi from Murcia to the airport which is a 54km journey and will cost around €65. Bus details can be found at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/murcia-airport-buses.html

It's not an easy journey, but the distance from Gibraltar to Murcia is a 560km so a taxi all the way would be very expensive to say the least.

Hi Gary

I have been trying to find out the best way to get from Gibraltar to Murcia Airport next Thursday. Unfortunately, i dont drive so will need to catch a train, bus or cab.

I was looking at getting a cab / bus to Malaga and then chancing my arm with the train, but can't seem to work out the renfe website! Could you possibly recommend the best way?
