Stop over at Madrid Airport

Hi David,

This link gives you full details on Madrid Airport facilities http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/madrid-airport.html

And details of the various lounges can be found here http://www.aena.es/csee/Satellite?cid=1083857745195&pagename=subHome

Hi Gary,

Easyjet is starting a service in November to Arrecife from MAD and I'm
thinking of connecting with a flight from Edinburgh. The times look
like - arrive from Edinburgh on direct Easyjet flight at 22.30 then
depart on Easyjet flight to Arrecife next morning at 06.30. This means
8 hours stopover but by the time you add on disembarking, baggage
collection and checking-in etc you are most likely down to about 6 hours
to hang around at the airport. Can you please advise if there are
suitable rest areas in the airport (I think both flights will be at
Terminal 1) for this purpose and will any food and drink places be
available between these hours. My travel plans at the moment are for
January-February.

Regards,

David Suttie
