Lost Luggage between Lisbon-Madrid and Tel Aviv

If one suitcase arrived then the chances are they were both checked in, and as long as he has a baggage ticket for one of the cases they can check this against his passport details (where they should have the number for the other suitcase (if it was checked in and there is one). You should still check with Groundforce as they are the agents who are responsible for baggage at Lisbon Airport and if the suitcase was not loaded for any reason they also need to check the lost property store there.

I would email them with as much information as you can to help them in finding the missing bag.

Linda, This is much more complicated than I thought. My son was late for the flight in Lisbon to Madrid and he's not sure Iberia even loaded his suitcase. He checked and saw they didn't give him a baggage ticket and so the number we have is of the first suitcase that did arrive- they had two. Now I really don't know what to do. Any ideas?

Avi

Hi again Avi,

I have just checked the email address and it worked for me so it is correct.

If your son departed from Portugal you need to contact the airline he flew with from there. Do you know who it was?

Linda

Hi Linda- I tried contacting this email and it doesn't work, my letter comes back. Any other ideas??

Hi Avi,

The Iberia ground handling telephone number for lost luggage at Madrid Airport is 902 341 342 or you can email them at relacionesclientes@iberia.es

Or the ground handling agent telephone numbers at Ben Gurion Airport are 03-9754067 or 03-5163237 / 9

If you don't get any luck with these numbers come back to me and we'll try and think of something else.

Linda
Gary,

My son flew Iberia airlines from Lisbon to Madrid, Madrid, Tel Aviv. His suitcase was never put on the flight from Madrid to Tel Aviv and now there's no-one to talk to about finding the luggage. Nobody answers at the phone number given to them and there's no representative in Israel.

Who can we call to trace the lost luggage?

Avi
