Lost luggage at Madrid

Hi Amy,

This year we have received more messages regarding lost luggage than ever before, and on a positive note a lot of the baggage does eventually turn up.

Iberia are the ground agents for BA at Madrid and you can fax them on +34 913 938 286 (which is probably the best option) or telephone +34 902 341 342

Hope you manage to locate it.

Linda

Hi Gary

I've just come across your website...I'm absolutely desperate and any information you can give me would be so helpful.

I flew with BA from Madrid Barajas T4 to Heathrow on Sunday afternoon and my suitcase hasn't been since. It's not been tagged on a flight so the chances are that it's still in Madrid. BA here have been absolutely useless and their baggage handlers in Madrid have been worse than useless.

I have spent 3 days on the phone to BA's lost luggage helpline in the UK repeatedly begging and pleading with them to do something. They say they have tried to call Madrid but no-one answers. Finally this afternoon, after 3 days, they received a response to their notes - Madrid have asked what brand the suitcase is. I have already told them over ten times that it does not have a brand name!!! This implies to me that they haven't even tried to look for it in Madrid.

Who can I contact in Madrid? Is there a number for BA or their handlers? What can I do to make them look for, and find, my bag???

Many thanks
Amy
