Left luggage facilities at Tenerife North Airport

Spanish Airports are notoriously bad at providing left luggage facilities and I'm afraid there aren't any at Tenerife.

Can you please tell me if there are any Left Luggage facilities at the Tenerife North airport? Also, we have about 5 hours between flights and I was wondering if you could recommend somewhere to go to fill in the time? How far are the nearest cities? Is it easy to bus there?
