Getting from Murcia to Alicante

Many thanks for your advice and attached links. I've since found that it's going to cost me 55 euros (inclusive of all extra milage) to hire a car from Bennisa for the day! So as you say, I'm going to pick my husband up and do some site seeing too!

Regards

Bozena

Hi Bozena,

There is no direct bus service from the airport to Alicante and he will have to get a bus into the city centre to make a further connection. The times they run are not good for his arrival time - see details at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/murcia-airport-buses.html

Alternatively he can get a taxi to the bus station in Murcia (but it's a 53km journey and will cost around €65) and then get a bus from there - https://www.alsa.es/VentaParticulares/AGVenta

The same €65 taxi fare willl apply if he gets a train as again he has to get to the city centre, but as you will see from the following link the last train departs at 17.47 - details of train timetables at http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir130.jsp&O=61200&D=60911&AF=

Having looked at the above options you might well decide the best option is for you to pick him up!

Hello Gary

I have read some of your suggestion on the net but wonder if you could give some advice on transport from Murcia airport to Jalon Alicante.

My husband will be arriving from Norway at 1900hrs on the 3rd November and I would appreciate your advice on the best and most economical transport service available. We usually fly from Alicante and I can of course pick him up from Alicante if you have no other ideas.

Much appreciate your help

regards

Bozena Evans
