Getting from Gibraltar to Montpellier

Gibraltar does not have good transport links with no railway station nearby and the only flights from there go back to the UK.

None of them seem very accessible to Gibraltar. Think your best option is to get to Malaga station and then get a connection there to Barcelona or Murcia so that you can then catch another train to Montpellier. You can get details of timetables and routes at http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/ingles.html# But as you are travelling over the Xmas/New Year period you need to specify your exact travel dates to see what sort of service is running.

You may well find that your best option is to fly back to the UK and out again.

I wonder if you can help us …. We are in GIB for Xmas and have now been invited to France (nr Montpellier ) for New Year!!!

Any suggestions of getting to Montpellier without coming back to the UK? Don't mind even a train…
