Facilities to watch rugby at Alicante Airport

Hi Linda

Really good of you to reply – thanks so much. We shall see what we can do.

Kind regards

Cathy

Hi Cathy,

You husband is not the only one: I've had loads of messages from people asking where they can watch the match when they land at various Spanish airports! Unfortunately Spain is not big on rugby so you will have to head for the nearest English sports bar, and if you get one where you can sit outside the children will be OK. the safest place to head for is the sea front at Alicante but this is a 13km journey and will take about 15 minutes. So by the time you pick up your luggage, clear customs, get a taxi and find a bar he will have certainly missed the first half.

Sorry not to have better news ...

Linda

Hi Gary

We arrive in Alicante airport 10 mins before kick off of Rugby World Cup. My husband is livid! Do you know if there is anywhere we can watch the game at or very close to the airport? We have 2 children, so bars may not want us. Any ideas?

Thanks

Cathy
