Connecting flights at Madrid T4

Madrid is a huge airport, but provided your flight is on time you might just be able to make the transfer. It's impossible to give you exact timings as it all depends on how long the ground staff take to unload your bags from the Granada flight, but as it's a domestic flight you should be off the plane, cleared passport control have collected your bags certainly within 30 minutes of landing.

All Iberia flights operate out of Terminal 4 or 4S (satellite) at Madrid Airport so you might need to get the connecting train to the satellite. I must admit if it was me I would be nervous about making the connection in time.

If we arrive from Granada via Iberia at 14:25, how much time will it take to transfer to an Iberian flight to Dublin at 16:15. Will we have to transfer our bags—we are buying the ticket from Granada to Madrid ourselves and will be redeeming miles for the flight to Dublin and home. Thanks, Sally
