Catching Connecting flights in Madrid

Hi Susanna,

You should be able to check your luggage right through when you leave from Stockholm. When you arrive in T2 at Madrid you will see signs for connecting flights so you just follow them through to the departures lounge to wait for your flight to Tenerife to be called for boarding. If you follow this link it gives you details of shops and cafes where you can kill some time in Terminal 2 http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/madrid-airport-terminal2.html

Hi Gary,

This is our first time travelling with our kids and the very first time we visit Madrid airport, so we really need to be focused...

We are flying with SAS/Spanair from Stockholm Arlanda to Tenerife Norte on Oct. 26 and we have to make a stop at the Madrid airport in between.
Both arrival and departure is from terminal 2 at the Madrid airport, how does it work when we arrive? Where do we go from there? How do we board our next flight from Madrid to Tenerife?

Do we need to fetch our luggage and make the check-in procedure again in order to receive our boarding cards to the next flight to Tenerife?

Kind regards,
Susanna Ohlsson
