Spanish shuttle buses for travellers with special needs

Are you going to be travelling via a tour operator's shuttle bus or a normal Spanish one? If it is a tour operator then they normally operate coaches which are very high to step up to as you say. Depending on where you are going, the normal Spanish buses are similar to those in the UK and many can lower their step, but I should warn you that some of the long distance ones are coaches.

If you are travelling with a tour operator then it is worth alerting them of your difficulty so that their tour representative can organise something at the Alicante end.

Hi, I wondered if you could tell me if the shuttle buses have a low floor as I am disabled and have great difficulty getting on an ordinary coach as the steps are so high, thanks.
