Getting to Jerez from Malaga or Seville

The distance between Malaga and Jerez is 219km and between Seville and Jerez it is 103km. There is one bus a day from Malaga bus station in the centre of the city which departs for Jerez at 08.15 and costs just under €20. She can get a bus or taxi from the airport to the centre of Malaga - details at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/malaga-airport-buses.html Unfortunately there are no trains from Malaga to Jerez.

If your mother flies into Seville she has a choice of buses from the central bus terminal - details at http://www.movelia.es/transicion_alsa/venta.asp# and again she can get a bus or taxi into the centre of town from the airport - details at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/seville-airport-buses.html. As you will gather from the above, if you can change her flight to Seville it will make life a lot easier for her to get to Jerez from there.

Hola Gary, Can you please tell me how far it is from Malaga to Jerez by coach? Which coach do you take? I am moving to Jerez and my mother is coming out to visit and i have booked her flights to that airport. Would i have been better to order a flight to Seville rather than Malaga from Glasgow?
