Getting from La Coruna to Santiago de Compostela

Gary Can you help? how do I get from the airport at La coruna to Santiago de compostella at about 15.30hrs Is there a bus or train?

It's a 65km journey and there is only one bus a day which departs at 10.30 am. You can get a train from the Renfe station in the centre of A Coruna - details of timetables etc at http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir130.jsp&O=31412&D=31400

You can find details of taxis and buses from the airport into the city centre at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/coruna-airport.html

Linda

Thank you so much. Still having a problem finding buses fom A Coruna to Santiago . Unable to get helpful web site. It sounds as if a taxi is the best way to the town from the airport. The hoppa bus/car looks expensive Is that so? Thank you for replying it does not feel so hopeless as it did Pam .rogers

Hi again Pam,

As far as I can find out there is no website for buses from Coruna to Santiago. The only reference I could find for the bus was at a website for Santiago as follows "Autocares Travidi Labacolla connects Santiago Airport with the Hotel Atlántico in A Coruña (Jardines Méndez Nuñez s/n).Timetable:From A Coruña: one departure only, at 10:30 am. From the airport: one departure only, at 11:30 am. Information telephone:981 257 082"

Bus details from the airport into A Coruna are that there are two every hour during on weekdays and the 25 minute journey into the City centre costs around €1.15. A taxi will cost you about €18.

Linda

Dear Linda Thank you again. It seems as if it is bus or taxi to A Coruna (san cristobal)and then the train to Santiago. and the same way back 4 days later. You have been most helpful. Pam
