Getting from Faro to Malaga

Hi Quintin,

There is one daily bus which goes direct from Malaga Bus Station to Faro and you can find details at https://www.alsa.es/VentaParticulares/AGVenta . The only way I could get these times was to reverse your journey (for some reason the website will not let you depart from Portugal) but the bus times remain the same - albeit very anti social.

The only other way to get to Malaga is via Seville which requires a change in buses. Details on timetables for Faro to Seville can be found at http://www.faroairportguide.com/faro-to-seville.htm and Seville to Malaga at http://www.estabus.emtsam.es/

I have read with interest your mail to Gillian from 2006 regarding the trip from Faro to Malaga . We are currently planning the same trip and wondered if anything had changed during the past year. Ie. Is there a train or coach that goes directly to Malaga now and what would you recommend we do?
