Flying into Gibraltar
Hi again Peter,
This is a "depending on the weather", reply but normally the planes fly around the Rock and come in from the direction of Spain on the right and Gib on your left.
Weather today is a bit cloudy and we've had a shower (the first rain since June) but everything smells lovely and fresh and it's normal for September with the slightly cooler weather fronts coming in and the days getting shorter. Don't expect it will last longer than 24 hours and the sun was out yesterday and it was 32ยบ!

Hello Linda
Sorry to bother you again but I thought of one final question to ask - hope
you do not mind!
This may count as a stupid question so I apologise in
advance...............
Do you happen to know whether the planes always land at Gibraltar Airport
in the same direction? I believe they might normally land from the sea
meaning the Rock is on the right and Spain is on the left of the plane.
The reason for asking is that when we pre-book our seats 24 hours before
flying I would really like to sit on the side of the plane that affords the
best view on landing.
If you don't know it does not matter and please do not spend any time on
this as I am sure you have better things to do - if you or someone in the
office knows the answer though I would be very pleased to hear!
How is the weather? Still good we hope!
Thank you again for all your help.
Kind regards.
Peter

Which direction Aircraft will land in Gibraltar depends on the wind direction.
