Car hire at Murcia Airport

I don't know which car hire company you are using, but if it is located outside the terminal building then your booking details should provide you with a map of where to return it to. If it is a few minutes away from the airport, then the car rental agency will provide transportation to the terminal.

I intend to book car hire from Alicante Airport and return the car to Murcia Airport. I have contacted the car hire company but they don't seem to be grasping what I'm asking them, and I wondered if you could help.

I've only ever hired cars from Alicante (my parents live in Mazarron, so collect us from Murcia Airport most times), but what I'd like to know is where at the airport do I return the car to? The last time I flew into Murcia I noticed that they had some car rental companies onsite, but someone has told me recently that you are transported away from the airport to another site to collect your car. But because I won't be hiring the car from Murcia, I don't know what to expect when returning it there. I don't want to turn up with the car and not be able to leave it.

Can you give me any more advice?
