Lost luggage at Barcelona Airport
Hi Gregory,
This is the worst time of year for lost luggage with Spanish Airports stretched to the limits. All I can suggest is that you contact Groundforce who are the handling agents for Alitalia at Barcelona and also responsible for lost luggage. Their number is 932 984 894
Hope they are of help to you, but you might need to be persistent and keep ringing the number: as I already pointed out this really is their peak season.

Hello Gary,
I saw that you gave some good advice..
Maybe you will be able to help me.
I went from Prague to Barcelona three weeks ago, and since, I m calling everyday the service of ALITALIA, the company with which I was travelling.
I received 10 days ago one on the two bags. One is still missing. And they re saying me every time, that as they sent one luggage, they closed my file, and to get a way to look for my luggage, they need to re-open my file.
But they can t do it from Prague cause it has to be done by the one from Barcelona.
I m calling them and pushing them t re-open this f….. file, but they told me they tried to call barcelona , …but they got no answer….
So that means in fact, that first they are inefficient, second, that they reall don t care.
I know that they will give me compensation, but I m not sure it will be the value of what I ve lost.. I went to Barcelona for a wedding with my girlfriend, so I had a lot of things inside…. And a present my friend will certainly never see again…
What can I do? They told me there is nothing to do.To wait, and maybe I will have a phone call.but how to trust them…
Please , I f you have some ideas how to do, it would be great..
Thanks
Gregory Carranza
