Lost and found at Barcelona
Hi Jan,
Unfortunately you've hit the crazy time of year for Spanish Airports and it will take some time to get any response from them. Can I just check you are using the correct fax number which is 932 983 843? If this is the right number then the only other thing I can suggest is that you ring them on 932 983 349 and see if anyone speaks English.
Sorry can't be of more help.
Linda
Hi Gary
Boy was I happy to ifnd your site!
I wondered if YOU could help me, as I seem to be getting no help form anybody else!
I departed on an Aer Lingus flight to Dublin from Barcelona Airport on Thursday the 5th of July, at 11.45am, from gate 47.
Before I went to my gate, I browsed in the nearby shopping area and bought some goods in both Etam and Zara.
Whilst in Zara I realized that my brown leather bomber jacket had disappeared from my bag.
I asked in each of the shops I had been in, and asked all of the security guards at the checkpoints, if anyone had handed it in, but they all said no, and with the language barrier (I don't speak Spanish) I decided to fax Lost and Found at the airport as soon as I returned.
I have faxed the Lost and Found office in excess of 6 times now, in English and Spanish, and I have received no response whatsoever , I' m just so frustrated that they haven' t gotten back to me.
I am really disappointed that The Lost and Found office hasn't even contacted me to acknowledge the receipt of my many faxes.
I was very upset to loose my jacket, and am keen to hear from the Lost and Found office, as to whether or not they have my jacket.
Could you please get somebody to liaise with the Lost and Found, and inform me?
It' s a brown leather/suede bomber style jacket with a zip front, and brown lining, with zip pockets.
Otherwise I will have to assume that my jacket was stolen from my bag, after all of the security checks, while I shopped in the Barcelona Airport shopping mall.
Hope you can help.
Yours hopefully
Janet Brierton
