From London you can only carry liquids up to 100 ml. thought baggage check and all toiletries have to be in clear plastic bag. Not sure if the same applies on return.

Yes afraid it is now the same from here. If you try and take larger quantities through in your hand luggage the Spanish customs will confiscate them.
