Getting from Reus to Barcelona

A lot of people are misled by the Ryanair/Barcelona information. Reus is over 100km from Barcelona and a taxi will cost in the region of €130-€140.

The other options are for your parents to get a taxi from Reus Airport to the Renfe train station in the city centre and get a train to Barcelona Sants Station and then a metro connection or taxi to the station. I have just booked flights Dublin to Barcelona for my eldderly parents & sister . They have to make a connecting flight to Menorca and I didnt realise from the Ryan Air website that it was not the main ariport in Barcelona.Ryan Air only have an option of Reus or Girona
Can they get a taxi to the main airport in Barcelona , is it far and how expensive would it be??

Is there a phone number for Reus that I could call to get some information
