Hi Jan,

If you let me know which airline you are travelling with I can give you a contact for their ground handling agent who should be able to assist your dad to get from the plane to the arrivals hall and from departures check in to the plane. As far getting from the airport terminal to any other means of transport to your destination is concerned the airport regard that as outside their jurisdiction and you will need to hire a wheelchair.

I'm travelling with my parents to Palma airport in September.
My dad can only manage to walk short distances and he really struggled last time to get from the terminal at Palma and back - its a big airport!

I tried to get disabled transport for within the airport and after several enquiries got nowhere - coming home we very nearly missed the plane as my dad simply couldn't walk very far or quickly.

How can I pre arrange for a wheelchair or disabled buggy at Palma airport?

I'd be grateful for any advice.
