Time between connecting flights

Hi Robert,

Haven't heard of any planned pilot or airport staff strikes being planned in Spain. The minimum time recommended for domestic connections is one hour and 30 minutes. But if you are travelling into one of the larger airports like Madrid or Barcelona during the peak season I would leave a minimum of 2 hours.

I am scheduled to arrive at ord on American air and depart on iberia in a short time.what is the official time allowed for this type connection (domestic to international). Also there is a pilot strike to take place in spain at time of my arrival.I cannot be delayed. Thanks Robert Brown
