Getting to Benicassim

Linda...

Thanks so much, that's a massive help!

What a brilliant website...I'd be very stuck without you!

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

This is the first time I've received your email so the other one is
floating around somewhere!

The best airport to fly into to link to Benicassim is Reus but you have to
go by train and change at Tarragona. Details can be found here
http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/index.jsp?page=hjhir130.jsp&O=71400&D=65318&AF=2007&MF=MM&DF=DD&SF=NaN&ID=i

and you can book online and see what the fares are. If you fly into Girona
there is one direct train a day into Reus which leaves the station in the
centre of town at 10.42.

To get from Reus Airport to the city centre you can either get a bus or
taxi (it's only a 3km journey). Details can be found at
http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/reus-airport.html. The other slightly
slower option is to get the bus from the airport to Tarragona and get the
train from there.

Hope this helps.

Linda

Hi Gary/Linda...I asked this question on the website, but not sure
if I submitted it in the right place, so I am trying emailing you too!

Sorry if you are already aware of my question! I am travelling to Benicasim for the festival and I am struggling to find the best way!

I don't really want to fly to Valencia as it is about £70 more expensive, so in your opinion, taking into account ease of travel, etc from these other airports, which would you recommend I go
to...Reus or Girona? I can't find much information on eitherregarding travelling from the airports, and on the spanish maps, can't really find where Reus, Girona or Benicassim/Castellon are!

Re, train and bus tickets....do you have to book in advance? if so, could you give me the link...I can't find a way to do it online!!!

Thanks so much!

Lisa
