Advance Passenger Info
Thanks for that Linda.
It all depends on which airline you are travelling with and your departure airport. Easyjet are contacting passengers online and asking them to complete the information while companies like Monarch are waiting until check in. The larger airports have swiping devices which picks up all the information from the coded strip at the back of your passport. But if you have one of the older style passports without the strip or are departing from a small airport you may be asked to fill in a form manually or they will ask you the questions at the check in desk. Because all the airlines are using different methods to collect the information I'm afraid there is no standard form which you can download.
Two friends of mine have just travelled with Monarch from Gatwick to Malaga during peak time and experienced no delays at all, and I haven't heard of it causing problems anywhere else so hopefully you will be OK.
