Hi Ian,Food is no longer listed as a banned substance, but I know of someone in the last few days who had some chocolate and water confiscated at check in so it's up to you whether or not you risk it. Still it all helps to boost the income at the normally very expensive airport cafes!

With all the changes in Security checks lately, can you clarify whether we can take our own sandwiches through security now or are they a 'banned substance'? We travel on Thursday 28th so an early reply will be much appreciated.
