Getting from Reus Airport to Sitges

OK – many thanks for this – I’ll let you know how I get on.

Someone else has suggested that a taxi from Reus airport to Tarragona would not cost much – around 15 Euro; then do that bus journey to Sitges.

The information about the buses is really helpful – thanks a lot for that.

Dear Jo,

I'm afraid you're right - all direct public transport routes to Sitges from Reus go via Barcelona. You can get the train timetables from Reus to Barcelona at www.renfe.es and there is a bus from Barcelona Airport to Tarragona which stops in Castelldefels, Ribes, Sitges, Rocamar, Roquetes, Vilanova, Cubelles, Cunit, Segur, Calafell and El Vendrell. The bus stops are in front of the Joan Miró mural in terminal B and in front of terminal C. The timetable from the airport is Monday through Friday departing hourly between 7:40 am and 22:40 pm; Saturdays, every two hours between 8:40 am and 10:40 pm; Sundays and holidays, every three hours between 9:40 am and 9:40 pm. If you do decide to pursue this route it is worth just double checking the bus times on 0034 938 937 060

We get asked this question quite a lot so if you do decide to go the public transport way your feedback on how it went would be appreciated.

Regards,

Linda

I really, really wish I hadn't done this now, but to get to Sitges I've booked a flight from Liverpool to Reus because it was cheaper than Manchester-Barcelona. But now it's impossible to get from Reus to Sitges without going first to Barcelona, it seems. I think I'll just cut my losses – lose my money on the flight I've booked and go for the Manchester-Barcelona, then get the train straight from Barcelona Airport. Unless anyone has done the Reus-Sitges trip without a hire car????

Take a taxi to Tarragona station, then a frequent train to St Vicenc de Calders then change here for a train to Sitges. Trains are frequent from here to Sitges.
