Getting from Girona to Sitges

The bad news is that there is no direct public transport link from Girona Airport to Sitges, but the good news is you do have plenty of options. You can either get the bus from the airport to Barcelona and then get another bus from there to Sitges or go into Girona and get the train to Barcelona and then on to Sitges. You can get bus timetables from the link on our Airport Guide page http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/girona-airport-buses.html and train times are available from www.renfe.es The bus is your best bet as it runs at very regular intervals, and although there are regular trains to Barcelona there are only two a day on to Sitges which leave Barcelona 06.52 and 18.25 (neither of which would be any good to you).

The other alternative is to hire a car. The travelling distance is about 140km and it's about an hour and 30 minute drive. You can get an online competitive quote for a hire car at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/car-hire-spain.html Taxi prices roughly come out at about €1 per kilometre so that would cost in the region of €140.
