Faro to Albufeira

Hi again Lou,

They look fine to me but I have no experience of them. Will certainly be worth getting a quote when you have booked your accommodation in Albufeira. They are certainly a reputable company from what I can find out.

My knowledge is really more on Spanish Airports, so sorry I can't be more informative on these services. We live in Spain and only recommend services that we have good local knowledge of or have used.

Regards

Hi Linda

Yes that is very helpful, thank you. Can I just ask though, would you not then recommend some of the airport transfer shuttle buses that promise to leave you to your hotel? For example?

Or is there anything wrong with these seervices?

It's just in case the bus station at Albufeira is quite far away from whatever accommodation we book?

Thanks again.
Lou

Hi Lou,

There are no trains at Faro airport so you have the option of a taxi which would cost around €35 to Albufeira or a bus from the airport to the centre of Faro and then another to Albufeira (which will cost about €4 single fare). You can get more details at http://www.eva-bus.net/home.php?lang=UK+If you visit the Faro Airport Guide it will give you times on the buses from the airport to the centre of Faro http://www.faroairportguide.com/buses.htm

Hope this is helpful and that you have a good trip

Linda

Hi Gary

Great advice on your webpage, I got help with a lot of other things. One other wee question please, if you wouldn't mind answering. I am arriving at Faro airport on Sunday 29th July. I am meeting other friends in Albufeira (hotel not booked yet). What is my best way to get from the airport to the resort?

There seem to be a lot of shuttle bus services which I can book online before I go? Any you could recommend? Also, will these leave me to a central place in the resort or take me directly to my hotel.

Thanks for any help you can give me

It's much appreciated

Lou
