Customs checks at Gibraltar border

Hi Gary,

The customs officers on the border back into Spain are really only interested in alcohol and cigarette allowances and will ask you how much you are taking out. I have crossed the border a number of times and never been questioned about items of jewellery, cameras or electrical goods so your gold necklace should be no problem.

I am going to visit gibraltar on a day trip whilst on holiday in spain. and i am looking for a gold necklace, and i have a concern about bringing it back into spain. can you give me any advice on the restriction at the spanish border.
