Buses from Atocha RENFE to Madrid Airport

The only other airline which operates flights from Malaga to Madrid is www.aireuropa.com who might be worth a try.

Not such good news on the bus front, I'm afraid. I've looked at every local bus company I can think of for buses from the Atocha Renfe station to Madrid Barajas T4 and can't find any direct ones. The only direct buses seem to operate from the metro.

The journey is about 17km from the station to the airport and a taxi with all the supplements will cost about €30, but this could be your best bet with young children. The trip should only take about 30 minutes, but you need to build in some allowances for traffic.

Excellent site!

Following the cancellation of my by vueling flight, I have now had to make alternative arrangements to get from Malaga to Madrid. I have chosen the train as the best next alternative. Your site was very helpful with this.

Question is..

1) Is there a bus from Atacha Renefe station direct to Madrid Airport T4. I have young family and don't fancy all the changes on the Metro?
2) What is the approx journey time?
3) What is the approx cost?

Just in case I have missed something on internal flights in Spain. Are there more airlines I can try apart from, Spanair, Vueling, Iberia and SAS... for a Malaga to Madrid flight.
