Bilbao to Mundaka

The centre of Mundaka is about 35km from the airport and there are no train services linking to it. The A-3515 Bizkaibus from Bilbao city centre does go there (costs about €2.15 single fare) and you can either get a taxi from the airport to the bus terminal or catch the A-3247 Bizkaibus which leaves from outside the terminal and goes to Plaza Moyua in the city centre and Alamameda Recaide 11 at 30 minute intervals from 6.15am (6.30am at weekends) to midnight. A taxi from the airport to Mundaka would probably cost in the region of €35 (as a rule of thumb Spanish taxis charge about €1 per kilometre).

The other alternative is to hire a car at http://www.spanish-airport-guide.com/car-hire-spain.html which links to a company called Cartrawler which does a search on the local companies and will come up with some cost comparisons for you. It's worth doing this if you are planning on travelling around during your stay.
