I have attached an article we have written on the new regulations. The Spanish authorities have now decided it would be too disruptive to introduce them in June as planned, and they are now on hold until September so your granddaughter and her family should be OK. The worse case scenario is that they have to have their passports swiped at their departure airport.

Good Morning, Gary:
I wonder if you could enlighten me in regard to new regulations said to be coming into force tomorrow at U.K.Airports in regard to Passengers bound for Spain.
My Grand-daughter and her family are to fly to Palma at the weekend and a radio broadcast today mentions new regulations as to supplying all Passport Numbers and details for each passenger; this to be supplied either before or on arrival at the U>K> Airport.
How is this intended to work, please?
