Hi Val,

We it's all very confusing as the Spanish Airport authorities are now saying it's not taking effect until September, but some UK airlines are still collecting the information. Depending on who you are travelling with, you can input the required information online or at main airports they have machines to swipe your passport and the encoded strip contains all the details needed. I haven't heard of anyone who has experienced huge hold ups since it was introduced, but is early days.

Hi there, we are due to travel to Alicante Airport next week and wondered what exactly is happening with the proposed processes that are reported to be taking place?
Any information you can provide as to what we are to expect, whether there is anything we can do before we go to avoid delays!
