Reus to Salou by Taxi

Hi,

I'm flying into Reus airport in a couple of weeks for a few days and need to
get to Salou. I know its not all that far but don't want to get conned by a
taxi driver. Is there any way I can book a taxi in advance without paying
through the nose or do you recommend asking on the day (if so are there any
tips as my Spanish is not great)?

We work on that generally its around 1euro per km.

You can ask before you get in the cab, and also either its my meter so if there is a meter, make sure its on, if not they may have a book with the costs in.
