Moving to Spain and jobs in Torrevieja

Hi Gary,

I'm sure you get asked this question over & over again – but it’s got to be worth a try??!! J

My partner & I are looking to move out to Spain, and would like to find employment within 1hrs drive of Torrevieja if at all possible – preferably within Alicante or Mucia Airports, but we are open to anything really!!

We are both currently with Thames Valley Police, we are looking for either ‘security’ type work, or customer services & aircraft maintenance.

As far as I know you cannot be employed by the Spanish Police unless you are fluent – which neither of us are I’m afraid so this is not an option for us. (shame really, as we both admire the way they work!)

Could you give me any ideas as to where to start/how to look for employment of this type please??

The airport websites do not appear to have a ‘vacancy’ page, so I’m not sure what to try next.

I really dont know about that area. Best thing is to find a forum in that area.

www.britishexpats.com is a good one and there are lots of others. People are generally really helpful too..
