Missing Luggage at Madrid

Hi Gary,
On our way to our honeymoon, my husband and I flew with Airplus Comet from JFK in New York, connecting flight in Madrid and final destination in Fiumicino airport in Rome. When we got to Rome we had no bags! None for the first seven days of our honeymoon. We finally received 3 out of 4 bags in Rhodes. Still missing one of the suitcases and I when I call the 800 number I have to give the same information over and over again. Is there a number that I can call in the airport that directly gets me into lost luggage and find out where my bag is.

What a disaster!
