Marbella to Seville by Train

Hi Gary,

We are planning a 7 day stay in Marbella next March and would like to know how long the drive is from Marbella to Seville. We are hoping to stay at the Marriott Marbella resort. Is it advisable to take the train instead? Should we spend overnight in Seville? Are there tour operators in Marbella, which offer day tour to Seville, Cordoba, Granada?

To drive to seville is around 2.5 - 3 hours and quite a nice drive if you go on the new road from Algeciras.

You can get a train too you can have a look at www.renfe.es
to find out more about trains etc.

If you go to any of the big hotels, some of them do do excursions so you maybe able to go via them. You can got to granada, cordoba and seville by train from Malaga.
