Lifts & Stairs at Madrid Airport for Disabled

I will be travelling with a disabled passenger who finds walking EXTREMELY difficult.. transferring from Terminal 4 to Terminal 4S... would you be so kind as to tell me EXACTLY what that means in the way of WALKING... STAIRS if any.. Escalators if any... Time.. and DistaHi nce.... Thank you very much .. regards Sue D.
