Madrid Airport Shops open on Sundays

Hello Gary

Hope maybe you can answer a question for me that I have not been able to find an answer for on the internet.

I know that stores in Madrid are closed on Sundays.......but does that also apply to the stores at the airport? we are flying thru madrid on June 10/11 and June 17 and we have layovers which would allow the wives to shop.

your help would be greatly appreciated

The shops at the airports and train stations are not closed on SUNDAYS which is either good or bad news for you!
